Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ) Qurban
Will participants receive the qurban if they join QC4U?
Yes, only participants of the QC4U Malaysia will receive the qurban meat in ready-to-eat (RTE) packaged form. 1 portion of cow qurban will produce 33 packages (300g each); 11 will be returned to the participant, and 22 will be distributed to beneficiaries.
Can qurban meat be distributed ready to cook?
Yes. According to the Mufti of the Federal Territory, it's valid to distribute cooked qurban meat, although distributing it raw follows the Sunnah. Reference: Q&A with Mufti (Islamic scholar).
How is the distribution of QC4U qurban meat?
⅓ goes to the participant, ⅓ to the needy, and ⅓ to the community or for emergencies through MyFundAction, both locally and internationally.
When will participants receive their portion of the qurban?
About 2 months after slaughter, qurban packages are delivered to MyFundAction, then arranged into QC4U boxes with certificates and sent to participants within 1–2 weeks.
Where will the qurban packages be distributed?
70% locally and 30% internationally. Packages are used for local monthly distribution, disaster relief, impoverished groups abroad (e.g., Yemen, Syria), and mosque/community support.
Why does it take a long time for the qurban packages to be ready?
After slaughter, the meat is frozen, deboned, and sent for cooking, retorting, and packaging, which can take 3–4 weeks due to high volume.
Can participants choose the flavor of the qurban package?
No. Due to unequal production quantities, all participants will receive a standard mix of available pack types.
Why do I need to fill up the address field since I will not receive any of it?
It is a system requirement. You may enter "None" if you wish to keep your address private.
How to check the payment status of the QC4U Qurban Savings Plan?
You may contact MyFundAction at +6014-3661836 (Admin QC4U) to check your payment status.
